Damon is building Ekaya to make company data conversational—acting as an AI Data Liaison between business users and their data teams. Ekaya enables better business decisions 10x faster while reducing ad-hoc requests to data teams by 50%.

Prior to Ekaya, Damon was the original designer of Xbox Live, where he created marquee features including voice chat, friends, and notifications. He is the author of over 20 patents.

Damon has founded multiple successful companies: Z2Live (acquired by King/Activision in 2015), one of the top 10 grossing iOS game companies, and Appuri (acquired by DocuSign in 2017), a Customer Data Platform using ML and predictive analytics. He served as VP at DocuSign, supporting the ML/AI strategy.

He holds an MS in Computer Science and a BSEE from the University of Washington and is the co-author of the textbook "C++ Language Algorithms for Digital Signal Processing" (Prentice-Hall 1999). He was also an amateur race car driver with his team winning the TCX Class of the 24 Hours of Dubai in 2020.
