Use cases

Where do I host an app Claude Code built?

Ekaya Cloud hosts browser apps built with Claude Code. Ask Claude Code to publish the application to Ekaya, then open its URL in a browser. The hosted app stays available after the chat closes and can connect to the services and data you configure for the work.

What to ask Claude Code

Example prompt, not a recorded run.

Use Ekaya to publish the sales dashboard we built so I can open it in a browser after this chat. Connect it to my sales records, show the reporting period clearly, and give me the application link.

What you get

  • A Hosted Application with a URL you can open in a browser.
  • Access to the services and data configured for your application.
  • Published application files that persist independently of the Claude Code chat.

How it works

Connect your harness to Ekaya once, then ask. Claude Code builds and publishes the application; Ekaya hosts it. See how to connect your harness.

What are the limits?

  • Ekaya hosts browser applications. The browser runs the application's JavaScript; hosting is not a general-purpose server, a background job runner, or an agent runtime.
  • Version rollback restores app files, not business data. Restoring an earlier application version does not undo changes the application made to records or connected services.

Questions

Can I host any kind of application Claude Code creates?
Ekaya hosts browser applications whose JavaScript runs in the viewer's browser. An application that needs a general-purpose server, a background worker, or an agent running continuously needs a separate runtime for that work.
Does Claude Code have to stay open for the app to work?
No. Claude Code builds and publishes the app; Ekaya Cloud hosts its files. People open it in a browser without keeping the builder's chat or coding agent running. The app's data operations still depend on its configured sources and the viewer's access.
Can I publish a new version or return to an earlier one?
Your agent can publish updates, and you can restore a stored application version. Restoring a version changes the app files only. It does not restore business records or reverse changes already made to a connected service.
